During the SMILE-course in Istanbul in October 2010 our group wanted to show the spirit of Istanbul through the theme of MEETINGS. The idea is to give an example of how to do a similar task with pupils in ordinary school. The subject or theme could be democracy, health, art or traditions and culture etc. It's a living exhibition, a sort of museum. It could be improved and developed by the readers in their comments.

Istanbul, the meeting space of Europe
In 2010 Istanbul is the Cultural Capital of Europe.
As a gateway between East and West it's actually a bridge...
