During the SMILE-course in Istanbul in October 2010 our group wanted to show the spirit of Istanbul through the theme of MEETINGS. The idea is to give an example of how to do a similar task with pupils in ordinary school. The subject or theme could be democracy, health, art or traditions and culture etc. It's a living exhibition, a sort of museum. It could be improved and developed by the readers in their comments.

Meeting a Turkish man..
...but he didn't want to speak English. No, he preferred Swedish because he had been living in Sweden for the last 31 years. Meeting someone from home...
